You can select a HI-Deluxe solar heating system in two ways.  HI-Deluxe Solar Heater System Kits are packaged solar heating systems you can select from a table listing various pool sizes. If you prefer, you can design your own Custom Solar Heating System by selecting the size and number of HI-Deluxe solar collectors and the installation component kits.

How to use these tables.

From the “Pool Size” column select the closest pool size. In that row find the solar collector area from either the “Uncovered Pool” column or the “Covered Pool” column. “Covered” means use of a floating transparent plastic cover on the pool every night and in rainy or cold weather. That will show you the minimum size system that will heat the pool under ideal conditions. Ideal conditions means in the sun all day and facing south at an angle from the ground. For less than ideal conditions refer to the “Swimming Pool Solar Heating System Selection Guide” to find the adjusted square footage.

From the following table you will find the areas in square feet of solar system kits with either 4 x 12 foot, 4 x 10 foot or 4 x 8 foot solar collector panels. Determine the size panel that best fits the available space and select a kit with square footage equal to or greater than the minimum from above. The more square feet, the warmer the pool and the longer the pool season.  The Part Number identifies the complete HI-Deluxe Solar System Kit as described. Add the suffix "A" for automatic control.

HI-Deluxe Solar System Kit List

Each HI-Deluxe Solar System Kit is a complete swimming pool heating system packaged for UPS shipment. It includes the number and size solar collectors shown, all connecting and mounting parts, stainless steel mounting screws, check valve, control system and vacuum relief valve where needed. Manual control systems have a three-port control valve. Automatic systems have a fully automatic electronic control, with control panel, sensors and motor-driven three-port valve. You supply only roof sealer, if needed and the PVC pipe and fittings connecting the solar system to the pool filter system.

When you want a longer season and to eliminate the solar cover, the most convenient solution is to select a HI-Deluxe Solar System Kit that matches your pool size.

HI-Deluxe Solar System Kits are complete solar swimming pool heating systems. They include 4 x 12-foot solar collectors, mounting and connection parts, check valve and control. They are available with either manual or automatic controls. Manual control systems have a three-port control valve. Automatic systems have a fully automatic electronic control, complete with control panel, sensors and motor driven valve.

At any time that you may decide you want a still longer season or a warmer pool you can easily add solar collectors.
